Scope: Shopify apps provided by Avielan / Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Controller
This policy describes how Avielan (“we”) handles personal data in the Shopify apps we provide (each, “the App”). For company details, see https://www.avielan.co.jp.
2. Information we collect
The App may process the following information via Shopify:
- Shop information (domain, plan, locale, etc.)
- Customer information (customer ID, metafields related to App features, etc.)
- Order information (order ID and fields needed to provide App features)
- App settings and logs (for support and security)
We do not directly collect or store sensitive payment instrument data such as credit card numbers.
3. Purpose of use
- Providing the features of each App
- Support, incident response, and security monitoring
- Legal compliance and service improvement (including anonymized statistics)
4. Storage and processors
Data may be stored on hosting, database, and related third-party services. We require appropriate safeguards from processors. Retention is limited to what is needed for App use and legal requirements.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by law or with consent. Processing on the Shopify platform is also subject to Shopify’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Merchant responsibilities
Privacy notices and consent toward store customers are primarily the merchant’s responsibility. When using the App, update your own privacy policy as needed.
7. Deletion
After uninstall, we delete or anonymize shop-related data within a reasonable period (except where retention is legally required). Contact us below to request deletion.
